ICT Register schools has announced a new competition – the ICT Register Showcase Awards – jointly sponsored by Toshiba and Brother.
The awards are designed to highlight innovative approaches to the effective use of ICT by Register schools and learning centres, while also celebrating the sharing of this practice with other schools locally, nationally and internationally.
Nominated Register schools were shortlisted in December 2009 by a specially convened panel (including sponsors' representatives and non-competing Register school representatives). Voting for the awards by the Register community took place throughout January 2010.
Nine awards have been offered across the ICT Register and the work of every award winner will be highlighted on the ICT Register in time for the Showcase conference on 16 March.
These awards are designed to celebrate the achievements of ICT Register schools, and to help the organisation develop the Register in line with perceived demands for advice and guidance.
The ICT Register is an initiative by the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust in association with Becta.
