The right gear for the net

Netgear will be promoting its wireless networking on stand M16 at BETT next week.

The company will be showcasing its award-winning ProSafe, ReadyNAS and ProSecure education solutions and providing advice on how to successfully select and implement cost-effective ICT systems.

Netgear education experts will be available at the show to troubleshoot wireless, networking and storage queries. The company will also be offering schools, colleges and universities a FREE Site Survey to assess current and future needs, identify network weak spots and provide advice on the best way forward.

Netgear said that the right wireless networking solution has the potential to improve the learning experience and increase levels of productivity. With the challenge that many schools are now responsible for their own IT purchases, and with growing prevalence of virtual classrooms and the 'home access' initiative, pressure is greater than ever to make the right decision.

Stuart Miles, senior sales engineer, Netgear, said: "Student productivity and a positive learning experience are paramount to any education establishment. IT issues, such as slow internet connections and poor network performance can be incredibly disruptive, which makes selecting the right network infrastructure absolutely essential. Having numerous solutions available on the market makes this choice very difficult, but Netgear can provide the critical information required to ease the decision-making process and still remain within your budget."
